Poles Cheerfully Inaugurated

The forest of new parking signs on the corner of Choriner Straße and Zehdenicker Straße heralds a new era of extra expense and irritation for car owners in the surrounding neighborhood. Finding a parking spot on these streets is akin to striking oil. Social Darwinism largely determines who wins and who looses in the hunt for a space close to their home or office, and not much will change with the introduction of parking tickets and resident parking permits.

There was something solemn and wearily inevitable about the installation of these twelve signs, so SLAB Magazine and a few colleagues felt that it had to take action. Something cheery was needed; something defiantly whimsical; something quaint and jolly …
