		<description>A colleague of mine sees the lack of façade philosophically: hole-filler architecture is legitimised by the fact that is restores historical street lines. In one way I&#039;m inclined to agree - old streets are a bit like the carriers of a city’s Qi (Ch’i) – but only to a point.

This building should be saying something positive about the notion of not expelling the elderly to suburban enclaves. But you’re right, one doesn’t really notice the building. It turns the street into a corridor. When you do notice it, you regret it.</description>
