Just spent some time scrutinising the Choriner Höfe website: your critique of the blurb and the renderings of trendy, pseudo-retro, block-like formica wood-effect furniture is on the button.

And the effortless way (double meaning intended) that vast m2 acerages are pulverised to provide one or two bedroom flats is amazing. The enormous depth of the plans on the ground and first floors is used to provide multi-bedroomed flats for families (pack ’em into the ground floor; kids need no light) who revel in long thin bedrooms, with kitchen niches in the centre of the plan far away from the light. On the upper floors vast terraces are furnished with single deckchairs (upstairs-people have no family). Due to the stepped back floors lots of SLOAP (space left over after planning) turns automatically into terraces (the punters have to pay 50% of the m2 price for it).
