Fresh Cargo Box

This is one of those low-key affairs no one even bothers to call ‘architecture’. It’s so low-key, in fact, that it’s only visible when not in use. During business hours this is a fruit and vegetable stall which also sells flowers. Towards the end of December, Christmas trees are sold here.

On a Sunday morning, with no one around, it looks oddly nautical. You could navigate this up the Amazon, stock up with manioc in Santarém, and sail back to Kreuzberg by midday Monday.
